Explore ways in which to encourage the return of on-ground students to Santa Monica Colleges' campus post-covid. 
Conduct Research to pitch a feasible design solution to faculty stakeholders to implement at Santa Monica College.

Our proposed design solution was to hold an SMC Surf day welcome event. The one-time event will be an experiment               to test how successful a surf club could be before committing to a full-time surf club.

After discussing our ideas and receiving feedback, we focused on the idea of a surf club, BUT hosting it within a welcome event at the beach, to test its success before committing to a full time club.
Prototypes__________

Creating a dedicated space within SMC's 
website for on-ground events only, where 
students can have easy access to find out 
what is happening, being more incentivised
to take part in events on campus. 



Mobile design for an SMC campus events page, and social media marketing                        of the surf day event on SMC's Instagram for promotion.
Poster Design______

Creating posters to place around campus  as park of marketing material to promote  the surfing event. 
Final Deliverable__________

As per the feedback from our first pitch, all our considerations and details of logistics and costs were compiled into a one sheet for the stakeholders to view. This was a more successful way to present our research and information regarding the event details and planning.
